The purpose of this procedure is to view, browse, add, change and delete records in the database table "x_security" (Security Matrix).

Key Fields

These entry field(s) are used to retrieve a specific record from this table.

Secur Type.
Type of entry in Security ID: Group or User (default = Group)

• DB fieldname/type/format: SecurityType [character] x(8)
• Screen component type: Textfield

User/Group ID.
Group ID or User ID to which this security entry applies.

• DB fieldname/type/format: SecurityID [character] x(12)
• Screen component type: Textfield

Function Type.
Type of entry in Function ID: App or Proc (Default = App)

• DB fieldname/type/format: FunctionType [character] x(8)
• Screen component type: Textfield

Proc/App ID.
Application or Procedure to which this security entry applies.

• DB fieldname/type/format: FunctionID [character] x(12)
• Screen component type: Textfield

Data Fields

These are the data fields in each record from this table.

Add Allowed?.
Are "add" actions allowed?

• DB fieldname/type/format: AddAllowed [logical] yes/no
• Screen component type: Checkbox

Del Allowed?.
Are "delete" actions allowed?

• DB fieldname/type/format: DelAllowed [logical] yes/no
• Screen component type: Checkbox

Secured Periods.
Name of an x_codes "Secured Period" entry for day/time limits.

• DB fieldname/type/format: SecurPeriod [character] x(20)
• Screen component type: Textfield

Update Level.
Security level for updating data: 0=none 1-8=partial 9=all

• DB fieldname/type/format: UpdateLevel [integer] 9
• Screen component type: Textfield

Value 1.
Available for application-specific use.

• DB fieldname/type/format: Value1 [character] x(60)
• Screen component type: Textfield

Value 2.
Available for application-specific use.

• DB fieldname/type/format: Value2 [character] x(60)
• Screen component type: Textfield

Value 3.
Available for application-specific use.

View Level.
Security level for viewing data: 0=none 1-8=partial 9=all

Browse Selection/Sort Fields

In the browse for this procedure, you can select and sort records by the following fields.
