Overview

The purpose of this procedure is to view, browse, add, change and delete records in the database table "x_job" (Job Definitions and Routing).

Key Fields

These entry field(s) are used to retrieve a specific record from this table.

Job Num.
System-assigned Job Number
Assigned by Sequence "JobNum"

Data Fields

These are the data fields in each record from this table.

#Copies.
Number of copies to print on each printer in list.

Append File?.
Append output to the end of the file if it already exists?
If it does not exist, a new file will be created.

Browser?.
Create a temporary Web page as output that client can view?
Files are created in a "temp" dir. under html root; URL sent to client.

Description.
Description of this job and its routing specs.

Email List.
CSV list of email recipient value sets "Address,Name"
Ex: "tom@xyz.com,Tom Brown,toni@abc.org,Toni Smith"

Email?.
Send output to email recipient(s)?

Fax List.
CSV list of fax recipient value sets "Phone,Firm,Name"
Ex: "5551212,ABC Co,Jim,5552323,XYZ Corp,Jane"

Fax?.
Send output to fax recipient(s)?

File Path.
Absolute or relative directory name where output file goes.
Relative directories will be under the application working directory.

File?.
Send output to a host text file?

Job Date.
Date this Job record was created.

Job ID.
User-assigned Job Identifier

Oth Prt Opt.
Other application-specific printer options.

Print?.
Send output to printer(s)?

Printer List.
CSV list of printer ID's

Save As File.
File name under which output will be stored.
This filename will be created under the associated filepath.

Special Form.
Special Form code used when not printing on regular paper.
Ex: "A/P Check" "Statement"

Browse Selection/Sort Fields

In the browse for this procedure, you can select and sort records by the following fields.

Job Num.
System-assigned Job Number
Assigned by Sequence "JobNum"

Job ID.
User-assigned Job Identifier

Description.
Description of this job and its routing specs.
