Demo Notes - Customers

1. Click "Customers" from the PDA Demo Menu. The XML file containing the application will be downloaded and cached. (This only happens the FIRST time, unless you "Reset" the cached apps).
   
   
2. To browse through customer records, use the First/Next/Prev/Last buttons. To see a specific customer, enter that customer number and click "Find Num/Name". Customer numbers range from 1 to 2000 or higher, but not all numbers are used.
   
   
3. You can also find a customer by name. Click "Clear" to clear the customer number field, then enter the first letter(s) of a name in the name field and click "Find Num/Name".
   
   
4. You can update any customer fields by changing a data value, then clicking "Submit". You can also double-click a value to select it and completely replace it with a new value. The standard Windows cut (CTRL-X), copy (CTRL-C), and paste (CTRL-V) operations also work in this emulator.
   
   
5. The "More" button shows additional information for the current customer. The "Orders" button on the main window or "More" window will open an order status window showing all orders for this customer.
   
   
6. Click on any row containing an order number and click "Order Detail" to see more detailed information and line items for the selected order. Scroll the line items table to the right to see additional table columns.
   
   
7. Click the "Back" or "Home" buttons to return to the main customer window, then click the "Exit" button to return to the demo menu page.
