Jargon XML Processor and Visual Editor for Progress
The Jargon XML Processor lets you work with XML documents in your
Progress V8 or V9 applications, to create, read, modify and save XML documents.
The Jargon XML Processor runs on any Unix or NT host as a persistent procedure with a full-featured API. It builds a tree structure to represent the markup and content of any well-formed XML document. Application programs can run any of its public methods (internal procedures) to create, load, merge, interrogate, change and save an XML document. You can build a new document from scratch, or load, modify and save an existing document. The Jargon XML Visual Editor provides a general-purpose GUI interface to the XML processor which allows a user to make full use of all XML Processor functionality. The Visual Editor runs on Jargon Reader and Progress WebSpeed or AppServer.
Features:
Need an XML API for your Progress app but you're still using an older Progress version that doesn't have the new Progress XML API? The Jargon XML Processor can do the job for you. |
