July 2005 - Version 3.3 Released

Version 3.3 (Mobile Edition) features an enhanced Jargon Writer that now runs as an XML application in a special version of Jargon Reader for Windows. This powerful new developer tool includes a WYSIWYG screen designer, a greatly improved script editor with full search/replace features, and other developer-friendly improvements.

All Jargon Reader V3.3 products now provide full support for multi-byte and Unicode languages, including Asian character sets such as Korean. Other new features include support for FTP file transfers, local file operations, mag card readers, system timers, and much more.

July 19, 2004 -Dr. G Michael Schneider, chair of the Mathematics and Computer Science Department of Macalester College has agreed to serve as an advisor to the Board of Directors of Jargon Software.
June 7, 2004 - Kirchner Corporation wins the Computerworld Honors Program 21st Century Achievement Award for "Innovation In Manufacturing".   
April 21, 2004 - Kirchner Corporation named as Finalist for Computerworld Honors 21st Century Achievement Award in Manufacturing category, for its project "Extended distribution system with mobile PDAs offering both off-line and real-time wireless capabilities", developed with Jargon Software and Progress Software technology.

Mar. 16, 2004 - Aperum  issues a press release announcing PDA Warehouse, a new mobile application that leverages Jargon Software technology to add PDA Functionality to Aperum's Progress-based industry-leading TakeStock distribution software solution.

Jan. 22, 2004 - Jargon Software and Aperum are presented the 2003 Partner Collaboration Award for North America at Progress Software's AP kickoff meeting in Miami. (Medals and everything!!)

Jan. 16, 2004 - Vermont Systems releases new PDATrac Integrated PDA Software (built using Jargon Software technology), as the mobile interface option for VSI's popular RecTrac, GolfTrac, FinTrac and MainTrac applications for the Parks and Recreation market.  
Sep. 23, 2003 - Progress Software press release on Business Wire features Kirchner Corporation's use of Jargon Software technology to provide mobile PDA applications for jewelry field sales.  
Sep. 12, 2003 - Cedar Creek Company (Australia) selects Jargon Software technology to provide desktop and mobile PDA applications for the meat and food processing industries and the manufacturing and distribution sectors.
Aug. 5, 2003 - Vermont Systems selects Jargon Software technology to extend VSI's Parks and Recreation software products with mobile PDA applications.  
Jun. 16, 2003 - Aperum, one of the leading providers of software and services in the distribution market, selects Jargon Software technology to develop mobile PDA applications for Aperum's TakeStock distribution software.

May 8, 2003 Article in Progress Software's "Profiles" magazine featuring Kirchner Corporation, a century-old manufacturer and distributor of high-end jewelry based in Minneapolis. Kirchner uses Jargon Software PDA and desktop software for field sales order entry and internal applications.
