BE SURE TO HAVE EXTERNAL POWER APPLIED DURING THIS PROCESS

Copy the unzipped files to the root folder of the SD card (i.e. "Storage Card").Run StartUpdLdr (from the handheld mobile device via the File Explorer) to begin the firmware update.

A system cache disk can be configure during the upgrade. It defaults to 4 MB. It can be set as desired be adding a command line like the following to the ULDSETTINGS.CFG file:

RamDisk_Size = 11534336

(Example shows an 11 MB system cache disk, i.e. 11 MB = 11 * 1024 *1024 = 11534336 bytes)

NOTE: IE uses this disk cache as it's data case for HTTP operations. If HTTP file transfer results in truncation, you need to make the system disk cache larger by re-applying the firmward upgrade with different settings in the ULDSETTINGS.CFG file.

 (JCS uses 11 MB system cache disk and a 21 MB application ramdisk)
