Quick and Improved JCS Staging Document for MC70 (MC7095)

It now takes under five minutes to stage an MC70 to use the JC Sales Quick Order mobile app.

Here are the quick and simple instructions:

1. Download and unzip http://www.jargonsoft.com/rdr/jcs/mc70masterSD.zip  (33MB)

2. Copy the contents of this unzipped folder onto an SD card.

3. Set the date and time on the MC70. (Use PacificTime)

4. Insert the SD card***. It will self extrack and make ALL additional configuration and settings.

That's it.

For JC Sales:

The device will contain a sample of the GIANT$$$ data, which is NOT current. Login is "rdr" with pw: "rdr". Replace this data with the desired customer configuration.

 *** - Sandisk Extreme III SD card (20 MB/sec read/write, non HD)

NOTE: If you've already extracted the SD to a particular device, and want to extract the SD image again, you'll need to explicitily specify this.

Reason is to prevent unwanrted image extractions which could overlay good data.

To re-extract:

1. Use a File Explorer and position yourselfl in the \Storage Card folder.

2. Open the "2577" folder. Run (open) the SpriteClone application.

3. It will prompt whether to re-extract. Answer yes.
