Using FF4

1. FF4 requires a connected login once each day to ensure you get the most current information. 

Make a connected login before taking any orders.  If needed or desired, use wi-fi.

2. If FF4 goes into airplane mode it means the internet connection is too slow for use. Your device may show “five bars” but have a poor Internet connection.

Continue to take and then save the order (on your device) in airplane mode.

3. Getting a better Internet connection:
   1. Restart the device. Sometimes (not often) that’s all that’s needed. Don't just turn the display off. Press and HOLD the power button until the screen clears, OR, 
   2. Make a wi-fi connection using your phone’s hot spot. OR,
   3. Use a public wi-fi, like at McDonalds or Starbucks. OR,
   4. Go to another location and try all of the above again. 

Once FF4 goes into airplane mode, it will stay there until you close and re-open it.

FF4 will automatically upload orders taken in airplane mode upon your next connected login. 

    4. Close orders as soon as practical. 

    5.  Don't get ahead of the app when supermarket scanning. Do not scan again until you’ve heard the sounder.

If you hear a braking sound without a dialog box, it means you’re scanning too fast.
